Iceland has added vegan Cumberland sausages to its plant-based range which it vows ‘will get your taste buds sizzling whether you’re vegan or not’.
According to the budget retailer, its new vegan sausages ‘don’t need to “pass-off” for the real thing, because they taste even better’.
The No Porkies Cumberland Sausages (six-pack for £2.25 or 16 pack for £5.00) are made with soy protein and have ‘hints of sage, coriander, ground nutmeg, parsley, and garlic’.

The cheeseless pizza is topped with tomatoes and black kale, with tomato hummus replacing the cheese.
The chocolate pudding features a soft chocolate cake with a molten chocolate sauce in the center.
‘Proud to build-up our vegan range’
“We’re very proud to be building up our vegan range – a plat-based selection so tasty you wouldn’t even notice there’s no meat or dairy involved,” David Lennox, head chef at Iceland said in a statement sent to Plant Based News.
“In taste tests, our No Porkies Cumberland Sausages have absolutely sizzled so we’re urging customers to give them a go before they sell out.”
Iceland’s vegan range is available in-store and online now.
