This Roasted Nut and Chia Seed Bars recipe features a rich blend of roasted cashews, pecans, chia seeds, and a luscious topping of almond butter, melted chocolate, and cacao nibs for a satisfying treat that’s both nutritious and indulgent.

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups cashews & pecans, roasted
  • ⅓ cup Lifestyle Food Chia Seeds
  • 1¼ cups soaked brown dates
  • Lifestyle Food Almond Butter to top
  • Lifestyle Food Sugar Free Milk Chocolate, melted
  • Cacao nibs

Chia seeds are a rich source of numerous nutrients that can support glowing skin, including electrolytes that support hydration, antioxidants that can help protect skin cells from excessive damage by free radicals, and omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which help maintain the skin’s barrier function to protect cells and retain moisture.

How to make it

  1. Soak the brown dates in water until soft. Blend into a date paste.
  2. Roast the nuts. Blend in with the dates until smooth.
  3. Add the nuts, chia seeds and date paste to a bowl and mix well.
  4. Pour in to a square tin and spread flat. Add almond butter on top and smooth out.
  5. Melt the chocolate and pour on top. Add cacao nibs and freeze until set.
  6. Slice into bars and enjoy!
