Record-breaking performances
Since its launch in February, the shoe has become synonymous with record-breaking performance, helping HYROX athletes set four world records.
The new colourway uses mint and powerful greens with lavender accents, inspired by the focus, determination and energy athletes bring to race day.
Designed in close collaboration with HYROX athletes, the Deviate NITRO™ Elite HYROX delivers speed, responsiveness and stability, and is defined by its bespoke full-coverage, high traction PUMAGRIP outsole with a specially engineered lug pattern for unrivalled, multi-surface control.
The NITROFOAM™ ELITE remains best in class; adapted to provide elite-level cushioning for maximum energy return, with a full-length, carbon fibre PWRPLATE sandwiched between the foam to provide increased propulsion.

Pro-Athlete Endorsed
PUMA athlete and HYROX world record holder, Joanna Wietrzyk, said: “The HYROX World Championships are the biggest event in the sport, so it’s exciting to see athletes get first access to the ultimate HYROX raceday shoe in the new colourway there. The Deviate Elite HYROX was built specifically for the demands of our sport, and it’s become a key part of my race-day setup.”
PUMA has been an integral partner of HYROX since its very first event in Hamburg in 2017. Today, HYROX continues to attract a growing global community of athletes, spectators and fans, cementing its position as one of the most exciting formats in modern fitness.
PUMA will be onsite at the 2026 HYROX World Championships with a series of experiences offering athletes exclusive access to the new shoe.
For the first time PUMA will be bringing its famed NITRO™ Lab activation to the world of HYROX. Participants will take on a 1km treadmill challenge against benchmark times set by PUMA Elite 15 athletes Jake Williamson and Joanna Wietrzyk. Those who beat the elite athlete times will win a pair of the new Deviate NITRO™ Elite HYROX.
Deviate NITRO™ Elite HYROX will be available on 1 July at PUMA retail stores, PUMA.com, Sportsmans Warehouse and Totalsports. Recommended price R6,099. For more info, visit: www.puma.com.
