This Apple, Date and Cinnamon Salad recipe is easy to make and comes together in just a few minutes.

Crisp apples, naturally sweet dates, toasted pecans, and creamy yoghurt are finished with a touch of cinnamon and honey for a simple dish that’s perfect as a snack or lunchtime side dish.

Ingredients

Pitted dates a dense source of natural carbohydrates, providing about 277 calories, 75 grams of carbs, and 7 grams of fiber per 100-gram serving. They contain almost no fat and offer essential minerals like potassium, copper, and magnesium, alongside small amounts of protein and iron. They have a rich caramel-like sweet flavour and aroma, and are ideal to add to smoothies, muesli and porridge, as well as many different sauces and stuffing.

Instructions

  1. Add the apples, dates, roasted pecans, yoghurt, cinnamon, and honey to a serving bowl.
  2. Gently mix until everything is evenly coated.
  3. Serve immediately and enjoy.
